How can I be eligible for the Maqsad MBBS scholarships?
To be eligible for the Maqsad MBBS scholarships, students must meet the following criteria:
- Be enrolled in the Maqsad MDCAT Batch 2024, Maqsad MDCAT Batch 2024 Crash Course, and the MDCAT + NUMS Batch 2024.
- Attend at least 80% of all live classes in July and August
- Attempt all MDCAT questions in the Maqsad app at least once
- Share and verify results of their PMDC MDCAT 2024 aggregate score
- Get admission into a public / government medical college for an MBBS program (in the 2024 — 2025 academic year)

How many students will receive these scholarships?
Maqsad will be awarding 20 merit scholarships to the top-scoring students who are enrolled in our Maqsad MDCAT 2024 batches. These scholarships are only applicable for public / government universities in Pakistan and will finance the first year of your MBBS program.
How will the scholarship winners be decided?
Those eligible students (see eligibility criteria above) who have the highest aggregate scores in the PMDC MDCAT 2024 exam will be awarded these scholarships. (If the exam is reconducted in any province, the reconduct score will be considered). Students will be asked to submit proof of their MDCAT scores and their past educational records.
Are the scholarships available for students who are not part of Maqsad’s MDCAT batch?
No, these scholarships are only available to students who are enrolled in Maqsad’s MDCAT batches (for 2024).
Will self-finance students get the MBBS scholarship?
No, these scholarships are only for those students who get admission on merit into a government / public university. These scholarships also do not apply to reciprocal seats.
I have gained admission in a private medical college. Will I be given scholarship?
No. Maqsad MBBS scholarships are only applicable for government institutes.
I have gained admission in a NUMS-affiliated medical college. Will I be given scholarship?
No, Maqsad MBBS scholarships are only applicable for government institutes that consider the PMDC MDCAT for admission (not NUMS MDCAT).
What is included in 1 year MBBS scholarship fee?
The scholarship will cover admission fee and tuition fee for the first year of your MBBS program.
What if multiple students have the same PMDC MDCAT aggregate score?
In the case of a tie, the student who has completed a higher percentage of the Maqsad MDCAT course (on the Maqsad app) will be selected to receive the scholarship.
Can overseas / international students apply for the scholarship?
No, the scholarship is only available to Pakistani nationals who gain admission to a government/public university in Pakistan.
When will the winners of the scholarships be announced?
Scholarship winners will be announced two weeks after the PMDC MDCAT 2024 result has been announced for every province.
Can I appeal the scholarship decision?
No, all scholarship decisions made by Maqsad are final and binding. There is no process for appeal.
- Maqsad has the right to reserve the final decision on scholarship selection, and their decision will be considered final and binding.
- Applicants must submit verifiable documentation for all academic scores, results, and claims. Falsified or invalid documents will result in application rejection.
- Maqsad reserves the right to modify the terms and conditions of the scholarship program at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be communicated through Maqsad official platforms.
- Details of scholarship disbursement will be shared with recipients upon confirmation of their eligibility status and valid university admission.
- The scholarship is non-transferable and can only be used by the awarded student for the specified academic year and program.
