Mixture

When two substances are mixed together without any heat or chemical reaction it is know as a mixture. For example if you take one spoon of sugar and one spoon of salt and mixed it together it is a mixture. Mixture can be separated by physical means like filtration , evaporation, crystallization and distillation.

There are two types of Mixture.

• Homogeneous Mixture - homogenous mixture all the substances are evenly distributed throughout the mixture for example water, air and blood

• Heterogeneous Mixture - n a heterogeneous mixture the substances are not evenly distributed for example pizza, rock.
