Order Pair:
A pair of two real number written in fix order within parenthesis. It represent the position of the point in the cartesian plane.
For Example:
This is defining the point on row and column or the value of is and the value of is
Cartesian/Rectangular Plane:
The cartesian coordinate system consist of two real number lines that intersect at a right angle at point O, where both the number plane have value 0. These two lines define a flat surface called Cartesian plane.
Origin:
The point of intersection of both the number lines in the cartesian coordinate system.
X-Axis:
X-axis is the horizontal number line of the cartesian plane.
Y-Axis:
Y-axis is the vertical number line of the cartesian plane.
Abscissa:
The value of x in the order pair is called abscissa.
Ordinate:
The value of y column in the order pair is called ordinate
