Question types
Critical Thinking
Read a short passage and evaluate whether statements are True, Probably True, Insufficient Data, Probably False, or False — based purely on the passage.
Letter & Symbol Series
Identify the pattern in a sequence of letters, numbers, or symbols arranged according to specific mathematical or alphabetical rules.
Logical Deductions
Given statements and relations, deduce which conclusion is the most accurate response — tests structured, precise reasoning.
Logical Problems
Puzzle-style questions requiring deductive reasoning — look at multiple pieces of information to arrive at a single answer.
Course of Action
Given a problem statement, decide which of the suggested courses of action logically follow and should be pursued.
Cause & Effect
Two statements are given — determine whether one causes the other, both are independent causes, or both are effects of a common cause.
Preparation tip: You cannot memorise answers for Paper-II. Focus your prep time on Paper-I academics. For Paper-II, read through the question type descriptions above and attempt a few practice questions to get comfortable with the format — 15 minutes goes quickly.
